Terms

  • Orders are not considered "booked" or placed on our calendar until payment is received

  • An automated email reminder will be sent 2 days after the due date. If the payment is not received upon receipt of the email reminder, your invoice will be CANCELED.

​

  • No form of payments will be refunded in the event you cancel your order. In the event Essie’s Delights need to cancel, Essie’s Delights reserve the right to issue a full refund or extend a credit for a future order. Essie’s Delights will make every effort to notify you regarding a cancellation as far in advance as possible.

​

  • We will attempt to match the colors chosen. When dealing with food there may be a slight color variance. We are not responsible for color changes that may occur after the preparation of the food item.

​

  • For Cake orders, we will not copy another artist’s work exactly but will use it as inspiration to create a unique cake design just for you.

​

  • We will not use any items that are considered NON-TOXIC (are not meant for human consumption). Non-TOXIC items can ONLY be used as decorations that are to be removed prior to consumption. Sanding sugar, edible pearls, and that is labeled EDIBLE can be used.

​

  • We are not responsible for any damage after setup is complete. You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table/environment and room temperature (70° degrees or lower) for any desserts provided.

​

  • If you or your representative elects to pick up and set up the cake or other desserts, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the desserts provided after the item(s) leave Essie’s Delights possession.

​

  • On occasion we will photograph our desserts and reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion across our Social Media platforms without any compensation to you. We will make every effort to delay posting until after delivery or pickup.

​

  • Our goal is to deliver orders in a timely, professional manner and as agreed upon. At times there may be incidents beyond our control that could delay delivery, including weather, accidents, traffic delays, "Acts of God" or other natural disasters. If such an event occurs, we will contact you immediately and waive the delivery fee.

​

  • In the event of a "natural disaster" or an emergency preventing the customer from receiving the order be it delivery or pick-up, a 50% credit will be transferred to a future order occurring within 90 days of the order due date and based on our calendar availability.

​

  • In the event of a "natural disaster", emergency, or "Act of God", including a global epidemic, pandemic, endemic, or outbreak requiring the customer to request a change of event date, accommodations will be allowed based on availability. Refunds will be decided on a case-by-case basis. Deposits (when applicable) and the cost of supplies are not refundable.

  • In the event of a nationwide or "state of emergency," that causes events to be canceled or postponed by you or the event coordinator, Essie’s Delights will allow rescheduling within 6 months of the event date and based on our calendar availability. Deposits (when applicable) and supply cost refunds are not allowed.

​

  • In the event of the death of the customer/client, all monies will be refunded. In case of the death of Essie’s Delights owner, all monies will be refunded within 60 days of her or his death by the authorized representative.

​

  • Be sure to read and follow the consumption guidelines provided on your invoice.

​

  • All items available for order are non-refundable. Please check your order summary before completing payment.

​

  • For shippable items: orders are processed in the order they are received. An email with tracking information will be sent to the email address on file when the order is shipped.

​

  • For the health and safety of all, NO RETURNS are accepted. We have no control over ANY of the delivery systems other than what is reported to us via the tracking information.

​

  • Shipping dates are estimated and are not definite. Production time is 7-10 business days but may be shorter or longer (dependent upon product demand). This DOES NOT include shipping time! Items will be shipped from USPS or UPS. For any issues with shipping, please contact USPS or UPS.

​

  • Please follow your package location once tracking has been provided so that you can make the proper arrangements to bring it inside once it has been delivered!

​

  • Information received to your email via our 3rd party shipping company. We accept no responsibility for delayed, lost or stolen packages. The customer is responsible for filing a claim with USPS or UPS to receive compensation

​

  • Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for delayed or undelivered items due to incorrect or incomplete addresses. Please make sure that you have provided the correct zip code, apartment #, street #, or type of street (Blvd., Rd., Ave., etc.) to avoid a surcharge.

​

  • Carrier may leave items at the door if there is no one home. We are not responsible for damaged products during shipping or left unattended once delivered.

​

  • Any damages that may occur while in transit, due to mishandling should be addressed by filing a claim to USPS or UPS. Essie’s Delights have no control over how packages are handled once they leave our possession.

​

  • Essie’s assume no responsibility for undeliverable products or delays due to weather, holidays, or other circumstances beyond our control, including the COVID-19 pandemic! 

​

  • All prices are subject to change without prior notice due to currency fluctuation, fuel prices and/or unforeseen economic circumstances.

​

  • ALLERGEN WARNING: Please be advised that all our baked goods may contain or came into contact with almond extract, peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, milk products, eggs, wheat, chocolate, gluten and or other allergens.

​

  • By remitting payment you agree and accept Essie’s Delights terms.
